Beaufort's Process Control is the backbone of our software products. It allows the input of digital orders to be processed in the background while the output is being created - meaning nothing interferes with the next incoming order. An extremely versatile application, Process Control is just as suitable for controlling printing and uploading on a single kiosk as it is for processing central lab orders at very high speeds on groups of multi-processing servers. Its multiple threading technique can keep the workflow very simple or very complex depending on the volume of order traffic. Besides being extremely scalable, Process Control handles rendering and printing of images, burning images to storage media and uploading to Internet-based photo accounts. Process Control can be easily modified to accommodate new image-based products.
