St. John's, Newfoundland - On May 1, 2003, Canadian-based Beaufort Solutions Inc. launched itself as one of the premier software providers in the rapidly growing digital imaging industry. By successfully acquiring the assets of Telepix Imaging Inc., the former digital research and development and product innovation arm of Gretag Imaging, the company is poised for immediate focus on both the photo kiosk application and the central lab CD production market segments. Beaufort's acquisition included all intellectual property rights for the company's highly prized software list including: Image2Print, BatchFactory, ImageViewer, Kiosk Remote Services, all Online Photo Network applications and a long list of other applications that are either under development or are previously deployed customer applications.
